Welcome to Sun Cottage, a spacious three-bedroom Yorkshire retreat in the peaceful village of Moulton, just off the A1 near Richmond and the Yorkshire Dales. Perfect for families, couples and countryside escapes, this traditional cottage blends period charm with modern comfort, making it an ideal base for walking holidays, market town visits and relaxing rural stays. Long-stay discounts are available. Inside, you'll find exposed beams, cosy interiors and a welcoming lounge with a log burner—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. The fully equipped country kitchen and dining area make self-catering easy, whether you're preparing breakfast or enjoying an evening meal together. The cottage sleeps up to six guests across three comfortable bedrooms. The main bedroom features an en-suite, while the family bathroom includes both a bath and separate shower. An additional WC is located near the entrance. The property is all on one level with wide doorways, making it wheelchair accessible, although there are no specialist adaptations. Outside, the large private garden offers a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the Yorkshire countryside. Guests have exclusive access to the entire property. Self check-in is available, with full arrival instructions sent before your stay. The MCPI Hosting team is available daily from 8am–10pm to assist with any questions. Please let us know in advance if you're arriving outside these hours. Before arrival, the lead guest must complete secure online check-in, including photo ID and acceptance of the Guest Terms & Conditions. Choose between a fully refundable £300 security deposit or a £25/night non-refundable damage waiver (capped at £110), completed online before arrival. House Rules: No pets. No smoking or vaping indoors (£1,000 charge applies). No parties or events. Please respect quiet hours from 10pm onwards.
