Searching for stays

See what is out there, then let us price it properly.

Search Stays shows the properties hosts have listed with us, with filters for the things that decide whether a place works for a crew. It is the right place to get a feel for what is available near a site, what it tends to cost and what a property includes.

It is not a booking engine. Nothing on the search page is a live availability check, and the nightly figures are guides rather than quotes. When you have seen the sort of thing you need, send us an enquiry and we come back with real prices on properties we have confirmed are free for your dates.

The filters worth using

Location, dates and guests firstPut in the site location, your dates and how many people are travelling. These three narrow the list more than anything else, and they are the same three things we need to quote.
Stay pattern, for crews who go home at weekendsChoose Mon to Fri for a four night working week, seven nights for a full week, or set your own pattern. Worth using before you compare prices, because a Monday to Friday stay and a full week are different jobs for the owner.
Parking, if anyone brings a vanFilter on parking rather than assuming it. Driveway space for a van and a pickup is one of the most common reasons an otherwise suitable property does not work.
Amenities that matter on a working stayA real kitchen, a washer or dryer, high-speed WiFi, tool storage and a desk are all filters. For a long stay these matter more than anything cosmetic.
Bedrooms rather than guest count, for mixed crewsGuest count counts heads. Bedrooms decide who shares. If your team need their own rooms, filter on bedrooms and read the sleeping arrangements on the listing.
Property type, where the job demands itHouses, flats, cottages, aparthotels and hotels are all in the list. A whole house suits a crew who want one front door; an aparthotel suits people arriving at different times.

What a guide price is, and is not

Every listing shows a figure described as a guide price, and every grid of results carries the same note: prices shown are estimates, and your confirmed rate is provided in your quote.

That is deliberate rather than evasive. We quote per enquiry, so the figure you end up with reflects the length of the stay, how many people are in the property, the time of year and what the site actually needs. A long booking is usually priced better per night than the guide; a short notice single week in a busy city sometimes is not.

What your quote includes that a guide price does not. The quote you receive is one all-in figure for the whole stay, with the VAT shown separately. Utilities, broadband and council tax are in it. So is the cleaning and towel service the listing describes. You are not assembling a cost from parts.

A listing page showing the guide price, the Send Enquiry button and the sleeping arrangements
On a listing, the guide price sits above Send Enquiry and says so in as many words. Sleeping arrangements run underneath, bedroom by bedroom.

What each listing page tells you

Sleeping arrangements, bedroom by bedroomWhich rooms hold what. This is the part to read if you need to know who shares and whether the beds are doubles, twins or singles.
What is includedThe full amenity list, plus safety equipment. Read the servicing section too: it states how often cleaning and towel changes happen and whether they are in the price.
Check-in and check-out times, and the house rulesIncluding the maximum number of guests the property will take, which is a hard limit rather than a guide.
An approximate location, not an addressThe map shows the area. The exact address is released once your booking is confirmed, which protects the property and the people staying in it.
The cancellation policy that property carriesEach owner chooses one of six, and it is shown in plain English on the listing. It becomes a dated deadline on your quote. See [Refunds and cancellations](/help/refunds-and-cancellations).

What you can see on the site is not everything we can get to. If nothing in the results fits, that is worth telling us rather than working around. We source properties that are not listed publicly, and for longer projects we will go and find something specifically for you. Send us the site postcode, the dates and the headcount and a shortlist comes back within 24 hours.
